Payment by Cash or Check
Payment may be made by mail addressed to the Waterloo Water Works at P.O. Box 27, Waterloo, IA 50704, or at our Customer Service Center located on East Third Street between Sycamore Street and Lafayette Street. The Customer Service Center provides an after hours depository box, a drive-up window and free customer parking for walk-in payments. The after hours depository box is emptied daily and all payments deposited will be credited to your account the following workday. You may request electronic payment so that your payment is automatically withdrawn from your bank account. There is no fee for this service.
You may also drop off your payment at either of two convenient pay stations located at Hy-Vee Crossroads and Hy-Vee Logan Avenue.
Payment by Credit Card
Credit card payments may also be made by phone or online. Please call (855) 282-7625 to pay by telephone or visit waterloowater.org to pay your utility bill over the internet. There is a convenience fee of $3.45 for phone payment and a convenience fee of $2.95 for online payment.
If your service has been, or will soon be, disconnected for non-payment please call the
Water Works, (319) 232-6280, with your payment information ready.
Your bill must be paid in full by the due date. The payment stub should be included with your payment. The Waterloo Water Works can discontinue your water service if you do not pay your bill. If you think your bill is wrong, call us immediately. Do no wait until the bill is delinquent.
Low-Income Home Water Assistance Program (LIHWAP) – This program is designed to assist low-income families meet the costs associated with water and sewer service (it does not pay for garbage/trash service). For more information please contact Operation Threshold at 319-291-2065.
