Waterloo Municipal Band Set To Start The 2020 Season

The Waterloo Municipal Band is very excited to announce our season is beginning on July 2nd and will play every Thursday night in July in the RiverLoop Amphitheatre from 7:30PM – 8:15PM!  The band's first concert, led by Danny Galyen, will feature patriotic tunes including "The Stars and Stripes Forever" and "Armed Forces Salute" honoring our past and present service men and women.  This season the band will also be featuring a selection by an African-American composer at each of the concerts.   

To ensure the safety of attendees, the band, and volunteers, the following measures have been put in place.

Pre-registration is required.  You may reserve your seats by doing one of the following: 

-Head to www.waterloobandia.org and fill out the online reservation form.

-Call 319-291-4490. You will get an automated attendant so please leave a voicemail and provide your name, phone number, number of tickets desired, and date of performance.

-Emailmuseum@waterloo-ia.org and provide your name, number of tickets requested, and performance date.

Deadline for registration will be at noon on the day of the concert. 

Fixed seating will be available with limited space for carry-in lawn chairs as we maintain social distancing procedures.  If you are not feeling well we ask that you please stay home.  Masks will be on sale for $1.  Capacity will be limited to 300.  Gates open at 6:30PM and we ask you to enter by the Phelps Youth Pavilion to check-in.  We feel these procedures are necessary for everyone’s safety.
