Compost Facility/Yardwaste Site 2021 Opening

The City of Waterloo’s Compost Facility will open for the summer season on Thursday, April 1^st, 2021.  The hours of operation will be 8:00am-8:00pm, 7 days a week including Holidays.

As a reminder, the site is located at 2745 Independence Avenue and is open ONLY to residents of Waterloo.  No commercial dumping is allowed.  Free drop off of yard waste, brush and grass clippings.  The site also offers free access for pickup of compost, wood chips/mulch, and wood that may be cut for firewood, etc.
