The WCA, located along the scenic banks of the Cedar River in downtown Waterloo, offers a wide variety of programs, events and activities for all ages including an interactive youth gallery, gift store and a permanent collection featuring: International Folk Art, American Decorative Arts and the largest public collection of Haitian Art in the U.S. WCA hours are: Tuesday - Friday, 9am - 5pm; Saturday 1 - 4pm; Closed Sunday and Monday. Admission is FREE.

Celebrating 88 years of presenting the best in classics, modern comedies, dramas, musicals, and mysteries, WCP has received the state's Top Performing Organization Award and has an international reputation for new play production. Audiences come from around the world, nationwide, and all over Iowa. Performances take place at the Waterloo Center for the Arts.



Black Hawk Children's Theatre

This award winning children's theatre presents five productions, producing four and bringing in one professional touring company each year. Productions consist of popular books brought to life on stage including fairytales and stories of racial harmony and diversity. Public performances are offered on Fridays at 7pm and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2pm. Performances take place in the Hope Martin Theatre at the Waterloo Center for the Arts.



Oster Regent Theatre

Enjoy the talents of community members as they perform a wide variety of productions from classic humor and familiar musicals, to contemporary plays in the beautifully renovated Oster Regent Theatre. The Theatre presents the Old Creamery and the Guthrie Theaters, as well as dance, music, magic and comedy.



Hearst Center for the Arts

Featuring local and regional artists as well as a broad collection of illustrations by world-renowned artists, this multi-purpose center features two galleries, a recital hall, and a sculpture garden. Performances and special events, such as the annual Cinco de Mayo celebration, are frequently offered to the public. Open Tuesday and Thursday, 8am - 9pm; Wednesday and Friday, 8am - 5pm, Saturday and Sunday, 1 - 4pm.
